Sr. IAM Strategic Consultant | Remote, USA

The Identity and Access Management space is constantly growing; we are looking for an autodidactic individual that stays aligned with IAM intricacies and, as a thought leader, understand where they fit into our customers IAM program. Candidates must be independent and self-motivated, possessing strong verbal and written communication skills, consulting skills, and deep IAM knowledge.
How youll make an impact:
The IAM Strategic Consulting team is responsible for identifying customer needs and making strategic recommendations based on client capabilities, experience, best practices, and industry trends through workshops, assessments, and deployment discovery sessions. This role will be responsible for providing aforementioned expertise on assigned engagements while supporting the teams growth, customer relationships, and sales partnerships. As such, the position will providing the following impacts to Optiv, our customers, and the cyber security industry: - Enable our clients - Educate and guide customers through IAM core functional areas Identity Management, Access Management, Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management and Data Security and Analytics - Make agnostic and/or specific recommendations that focus on client needs (operational inefficiencies, risk mitigation, cost, resources, and competencies) - Support team growth - Provide mentorship to less senior consultants - Collaborate with team to enhance operational excellence and deliverables - Support the incredible Strategic Consulting team to strive to new heights - Partner with and support Sales - Enhance strategic offerings - Assist Sales (Client Managers and pre-sales Advisors) in project scoping and the development of project change orders (working with Service Delivery Manager) - Provide thought leadership to IAM industry - Provide creative/impactful solutions focused on client needs - Work with other Optiv IAM and Cyber Security teams to identify complementing solutions - Work with vendors to ensure their roadmaps include features needed by clients - Provide thought leadership to IAM industry via blogs, white papers and/or presentations
