Principal Business System Analyst - SAP Expert (MA, TX or Remote)

Summary:

This position can be located onsite at our MA or TX facilities or 100% Remote. Will reside within IT Finance segment under the Accounting function to work on Intercompany and Revenue Recognition applications. Seeking for a senior functional analyst with expertise in implementing and supporting accounting and intercompany solutions. Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS and SAP database tables and relationships and the ability to write SQL queries is required.

Proven experience in managing business relationship, requirements gathering and prioritization to act as a Product Owner. The position is highly visible and will be responsible for a variety of duties including business requirements/processes analysis and system integration considerations to determine appropriate technology solutions, writing functional documentation (MD050) and review technical documentation (MD70). Working with off shore development resources, etc. Documentation of functional specifications for enhancement requests will be required.

General Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with documentation of global system specifications.

  • Analyze/document existing processes, systems and potential customized system solutions.

  • Draft/review system test scripts

  • Execute SIT (System Integration Test) test scripts and record results

  • Assist with project planning and system implementation

  • Develop feasibility, business case studies, and estimates

  • Interact with associates from different geographical regions & different time zones

Qualifications:

Experience:

10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

A minimum of 5 years of work experience with Oracle R12 applications an/or SAP in either implementation or support capacity. In-depth functional working knowledge of at MINIMUM three of the following areas:- Accounting

  • Virtual Trader/Intercompany

  • Purchasing

  • General Ledger

  • Accounts Payable

  • Fixed Assets
