Role: Integration Architect/B2B Integration (Remote Support)

Location: Pennsylvania, 15001

Duration: 6 months

Work Schedule: M-F, 8-5

Job Description:

  • As the Portfolio Architect for B2B Integration, the candidate will architect global technology solutions for all functionality that involves components of industry standard tools such as webMethods, Informatica and its tight integration around the ITSM applications (BMC Remedy Action Request System, Service Now).

  • The candidate will collaborate with other functional and technical teams to ensure all B2B Interface points are correctly described and deployed. The position requires proven experience of using B2B Integration Technology that supports application-to-application (A2A) as well as business-to-business integration. Hands-on design/development experience using B2B framework and familiarity with Middleware components is needed in order to translate business and offering requirements into technical architectures that can be seamlessly integrated into the global production infrastructure.

  • The candidate will work on cutting-edge projects in a highly technical, dynamic, and fast-paced organization and will be part of the team interfacing with B2B and ITSM Global Architects. Preference will be given to candidates that have expertise with webMethods, Informatica and/or similar toolset.

Responsibilities** :**

  • Work with the Global Portfolio Offering Architect to create the technical architecture for all B2B related solutions and integration requirements.
  • Ability to analyze B2B business processes.
  • Responsible for understanding client architecture and recommending reusable, best of breed integration implementations.
  • Design a scalable queuing based asynchronous services.
  • Conform to architecture standards and practice and work with client architects and engineering team as required to keep up to date with enabling technologies. Participate in the evaluation and PoC of 3rd party solutions when required.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge in multiple areas including network protocols, security, high availability, data transport, and storage to understand and improve current architecture design.
  • Work with System, Security and Software Architects to scope deployment standards and best practices to control, enhance and improve overall infrastructure stability and availability.
  • Prototype Workflows and Automation.
  • Assist with client issues, and with RFI/RFP as needed

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must have in-depth hands - WebMethods and Informatica PowerCenter/PowerExchange/B2B
  • Must have an in-depth hands-on 2-3 year experience with one or more of the following B2B Integration Solutions:
  • Adapter suites and workflow for B2B solutions
  • webMethods
  • Tibco
  • Websphere integration
  • Vitria
  • Strong knowledge of UML
  • Strong knowledge of Web Services / REST API
  • Experience using communication protocols for data transport.
  • 3 to 7 years of proven work-experience in architecting B2B Integration Solutions and prototyping high-level workflow.
  • Hands-on experience with BMC ITSM, Service Now applications and understanding of Atrium CMDB Common Data Model is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end SDLC and Infrastructure architecture.
  • Knowledge of architecture and design patterns.
  • Development background over Eclipse IDE and programming experience over J2EE environment a plus.
  • Ability to create detailed conceptual, logical and physical architectures
  • Some exposure to BMC ITSM 8.x
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to deal with partners and peers located worldwide

Education and Work Experience

Minimum Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred) with focus on English, Computer Science, and/or Engineering from leading institutes)

Minimum of 10 years of work experience

Other duties as required
