Senior ECM (iManage) Engineer (Remote)

Our Client has an immediate need for a Senior ECM Engineer who has strong enterprise content management support and implementation experience. Experience with iManage is a big plus. This position provides an opportunity to work virtual from your home office with occasional travel.

The Senior ECM (Enterprise Content Management) Engineer provides application support to client document management systems, record management systems, scanning systems, etc. This position is part of the Enterprise Content Management team reporting to the ECM Services Manager. Routine tasks include, but are not limited to, ECM system implementations and upgrades, Document Management administration, user support, technical project management, and troubleshooting.


This is a senior level engineer position. Job responsibilities will include:

  • Lead delivery of client solutions such as: Server and software installations and upgrades, DMS Health

  • Checks, knowledge transfer to client

  • Serve as dedicated client support where needed

  • Provide advanced Trouble shooting

  • Serve as Technical lead on large and mid-sized projects

  • Mentor and train junior engineers

  • Serve as an expert in several areas of ECM

  • Identify gaps in client's ECM portfolios and pass along opportunities to the sales team


  • 10+ years of experience as an engineer and/or a degree in technology

  • Expert in the ECM field

  • Ability to write intermediate to complex SQL queries

  • Significant experience working with the major legal specific document management, records management and/or scanning software

  • Experience with iManage Document Management System

  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with clients in both written and verbal communications and step in when issues need to be escalated.


  • 10+ years of experience as an ECM Engineer

  • Prior experience in a high-level consulting or customer service role is required

  • Certifications in ECM specific software, such as iManage Certified Engineer

  • Client software installation and packaging

  • Script creation using languages such as VBScript or Powershell

  • SQL Installation and configuration

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills


  • Professional, customer service demeanor

  • Outgoing and comfortable working with client contacts and end users

  • Ability to easily adapt to changing environments

  • Careful attention to detail and priorities is a MUST

  • Be able to excel in a fast-paced environment
