Elite Technical is seeking multiple IBM Mainframe Support Analysts (COBOL Integration/Support Analyst) that will be home based (telecommuters).
These positions are temp-to-perm opportunities, offering career growth, stability, and exceptional benefits and will work from home after a 4-6 week training period in Washington DC. Responsibilities, tasks and deliverables include: (1)Phone support providing technical solutions in production and plan test (user acceptance testing) environments (2)Provide Tier 1 support for Customers which includes Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, vendors and the internal staff (3) Take phone calls for customer support during call center off hours.
Solving tickets as they come in or escalated the tickets to the production team (production team is 24/7) (4)Respond to and handle; alerts, abends and phone support escalations What to expect: - Shift: 4 days on than 3 days off.
Work week is 40 hours with two 12 hour days and two 8 hours days.
The hours of coverage are 6 AM to 6 PM and will rotate every 4 months, but hours will not rotate. - 4 to 6 week training program in Washington DC prior to position changing to home based telecommute position - Everyone must work 8 hour days on Wednesday for training or meetings - Ground floor opportunity.
