Openstack environments, including storage integration and consumption, patching, and version management
Act as escalation point for the Support organization for Managed Openstack/Linux environments
Manage Openstack resource utilization across all Openstack environments
Defining processes and procedures for fast paced growth of the cloud platform to ensure uniform, repeatable addition to all infrastructure components.
Provides off-hours remote support for planned maintenance work and unplanned support issues. May occasionally require on-site work at a data center during off-hours.
Documents and presents change requests at review change board.
Create and maintain system documentation for updates made to the infrastructure environment

Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
5-8 years experience with Linux (Preferably RHEL)
At least 5 years Openstack experience in an enterprise environment
Experience in OpenStack CLI (nova, neutron, cinder, etc)
Building of host servers, SAN s and assist in set-up of networking and firewalls for cloud infrastructure.
At least 2 years experience in the following storage technologies; Nimble, Ceph.
Extensive experience with Virtualization platforms, specifically, Openstack and Vmware is a plus
Deployed VMs in an OpenStack cloud environment.
VSP and OpenStack certifications are a plus
