Client is looking for a CompliantPro super user who will help to manage users, troubleshoot issues, help to set up the systems, provide sys admin type duties, etc.
The jobholder needs to work with and support business users and plant people on managing Compliant Pro & QSYS systems.
Ability to become proficient in navigating and configuring the software. The person in this role should spend a good deal of time in the software even when there is not an immediate need so that they are always the resident Super User.
Trouble shoot issues faced by the users. There is a need for someone who can educate themselves on the inner workings of Hydro's configuration so that he/she can investigate and problem solve issues as they arise. We should be able to solve most issues on our own without having to rely on calls to Siemens for guidance.
Manage and maintain new and existing users in the systems as well as removal of former employees. Define users rights and system groups.
Ability to learn methods for data extraction and report writing. Maintain existing reports.
Communication link between Hydro network and software provider. Manages all communications regarding outages and upgrades. Also handles the testing of new versions and all pieces of the version upgrade process.
Takes a leadership role in the Quality Software projects working alongside Central Quality and site-specific locations. The groups should work in hand in hand and have general knowledge of all aspects. Quality should understand general IT concepts and vice versa.
Ability to build solid relationships with the network and be viewed as the 'go to' person who can get the job done
We assume that it will be hard to find candidates with QSYS experience on the market so we will have to train the candidate for QSYS, but some quality experience still would be needed.
