If you are located in the Minneapolis, MN metro area, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data management needs

Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning

Build software, databases, and reporting capability to support operational/strategic business activities

Develop recommended data solutions through research and analysis and implementation of data process

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science - software development, related field or equivalent work experience

3+ years of experience in software development / database development with ability to develop code and reporting based on defined business needs and specifications

Advanced level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management.

Working knowledge of relational databases and database structures

Intermediate Level Proficiency with the following: SQL, MS Excel and at least 1 programming language. (ie C-Sharp, Java, C++, Python, etc)

Experience creating databases from scratch and develop moderately-complex queries

Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare / managed care experience

Ability to set-up formulas, write functions with VBA, C-Sharp or other equivalent language

Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of required business processes

Experience gathering and documenting requirements from the business

Intermediate Level Proficiency with the following: Access, VBA

Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to the business in writing and verbally

Strong customer service skills - ability to connect with customer

Strong communication skills - able to translate business requirements into technical requirements/coding

Experience writing documentation of written code, reports, data, database reporting

Ability to automate reports

Experience and proficiency in workflow management - understanding how data integrates with business needs

Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data

Ability to create forms to link to data and understand User Interface

Ability to track directions provided for assigned work (take notes on instructions given and follow through on those instructions)
