Remote Support Engineer

Robert Half Technology is seeking a skilled Remote Phone Support Engineer with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an easy-to-understand and concise format for a Managed Services Provider. Problem solvers who enjoy working in a challenging and positive environment may do well in this position.

How you will make an impact

  • Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

  • Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters

  • Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities

  • Arrange hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors

  • Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions

  • Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals

Job Requirements

  • Less than one year of experience required

  • Microsoft Windows experience

  • Expertise in scanner

  • Printers experience desired

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals - provided by Dice Desktop Support, Hardware, Peripherals, Windows
