Mid-Level PHP Developer - Remote living in the UK - £35-50k - 3+ years' experience

A globally recognised eLearning company are on the lookout for talented Mid-Level PHP Developer to join their team remotely. They're currently undergoing a lot of growth, so this is a perfect opportunity for someone Mid-Level looking to take the next step in the career to progression a Lead Developer.

Not only are large brands such as Tesco, Coca Cola and TUI using their training platform, they're also listed on the top 20 training companies.

Although the position is remote, you will be expected to travel to Brighton to their head office for meetings and team events. Ideally, you'll live no more than 4 hours away from their office. The projects that you'll be involved in will never be solo projects, the pride themselves on their team feel even though you won't be working in the same office space.

Tech skills:

  • PHP - CodeIgniter, Phalcon
  • MySQL
  • HTML/CSS
  • JavaScript

  • jQuery

Desired skills but not essential:

  • AWS
  • LAMP
  • React/Redux
  • AWS

As this is a fully remote position, you'll be expected to be a self-starter. There are no core hours and they are fully flexible with more of a start-up feel and no corporate stuff! To ensure ideas are being shared and to keep the team motivated or just to have a chat, they are constantly on their Slack group.

They're offering 25 days holiday, increasing every year of your employment. They will help with your home office set-up costs or if or if you just fancy a change of scenery, they will contribute to your costs of coworking spaces. When you are due to visit the office, the company like to go out for company lunches or beers after work as well as their Summer and Christmas parties.
