Director of Account Management-Remote

Position Overview:? The key management position oversees the Account Management team and is responsible for both direct employee supervision and the management and retention of Avesis? existing customers.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop the Account Management staff

  • Work closely with senior operational leaders in Sales, Customer Service, Claims, IT, Provider Management and Finance to develop processes and procedures that facilitate comprehensive, appropriate and timely responses to client issues and questions

  • Ensure that Av?sis maintains its client base through the development and implementation of client based retention and service strategies

  • Act as a key member of the Av?sis middle management team , initiating and participating in multi-disciplinary decision making, problem solving and governance forums as needed

  • Manage employee capacity and productivity through the use of formal, established performance metrics

  • Execute or oversee departmental special projects or initiatives as needed

Qualification Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelors? degree; Masters? degree preferred

??????????????? Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years (10 years preferred) of experience managing multiple health plan operational areas

  • Demonstrated senior management level relationship management skills

  • Proven executive level oral and written communication skills

  • Proven success developing, motivating, and leading professionals

  • Successful track record of consistently exceeding management expectations and goals

  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and a self-starter with strong analytical skills and the ability to multi task, strong time management skills

  • Ability to travel nationally a must

Computer Skills:

  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
