Ad Sales Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated individual that can work in a data-driven environment. The candidate will be an analytical problem solver, and have a high level of customer focus.

Have you ever built a bridge? Get ready to connect the ad operations, sales, and marketing teams. We need help enabling effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources. Once we get the data, we’ll need help compiling it into a digestible and actionable format so that the Sales team can make informed decisions. 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Develop strong understanding of BuySellAds media products
  • Work in partnership with the Sales team to understand client objectives and needs
  • Help take a signed IO and turn it into a live, successful campaign
  • Continually be in the know on our top buyer campaigns and analyze for opportunities for improvement alongside sales representatives
  • Assist in finding resolutions to ad serving issues and reporting discrepancies
  • Work with Ad Ops Team to monitor all live campaigns for proper serving, click through action, and conversion events
  • Assist advertisers with their reporting needs, and support the Sales Team with reporting requests
  • Obtain creative/3rd party tags and assist in delivery or creation when needed

  • Has experience in the advertising industry
  • Is obsessive about web tech
  • Obsessively checks emails and replies at an alarming rate
  • Is organized and structured but is not fazed by an out of the box request
  • Has the ability to work independently, consistently producing meaningful results
  • Is comfortable working remotely
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks with a proactive “can-do” attitude
  • Client-focused mindset with a passion for using data and analytics to drive business results
  • Familiarity with different online advertising pricing structures (CPC, CPM, CPA, etc.)
  • Understanding of third-party advertising tags and reporting
  • Bonus points for past marketing analyst or sales operation experience
