Remote Network Architect
Responsible for capturing and confirming business and technical requirements, including proposal development, scoping new engagements, driving solutions implementation, and delivering projects that create value for our Clients. Responsibilities include having and displaying knowledge of current network architectural techniques and best practices use at major enterprise organizations across the industry.
Minimum of 5 years' professional services/consulting experience.
3+ years' experience soliciting, documenting, and evolving client requirements into successful solutions
Advanced network design, deployment, and troubleshooting skills with significant (500 node+) networks. Deep understanding of network routing and switching protocols including: TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VPN, DMVPN, STP, VTP, AAA, DHCP, WAAS, HSRP, VLAN, Spanning Tree, QoS.
Working knowledge of network management, design, and diagnostic tools including: CiscoWorks/Prime, HP OpenView, Netscout, SolarWinds
Ability to creditably partner and collaborate with Clients and GDH Teams in order to educate, recognize opportunities, then convert Client needs into deliverable engagements.
Experience leading and growing technical teams in the execution of network design and engagement delivery duties.
Advanced communications (written and verbal) skills used to present technical concepts to diverse audiences, along with the capability to develop technical documents containing Client requirements, high and low level designs, deployment instructions, and testing procedures.
Education and Certifications:
Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) - Routing and Switching
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
