I'm working with a brand-new, startup team being built in Boston near South Station. They offer a chance to work remotely a few days a week, but would also like folks in the office a few days a week as well. (This ldquoremote friendlyrdquo piece has been built in from the start so no surprises there) They also already have over 2,500 paying enterprise customers so the normal ldquoriskrdquo associated with a startup of this size isnrsquot what yoursquod normally find. True ldquogreenfieldrdquo team build-out that just started last year. They have gone from the first hire to over twenty-five at this point and this role offers the chance to be an influencer on a new product build out and team culture. Company is all Ruby on Rails Java right now on AWS (React Angular.JS on the UI) serves hundreds of millions of requests a month and is growing and expanding on a daily basis. This allows for some creative problem solving on how to optimize each feature to allow for further expansion. All of this comes along with having an aggressive roadmap to deliver new features to thousands of paying customers. Since the scale is large you get to see how features you worked on behave and perform in real time. If you have a strong background in Ruby on Rails Development and are interested in learning more about the company and the role reply to this job posting with a copy of your resume and we can arrange a time to chat OR we can go back and forth via email to see if you'd like to speak further.
