What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for managing and deploying the websites and portal sites for a large insurance carrier. You will be inspecting and guiding all aspects of web development and application support for a large direct to consumer web property. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 year's experience managing a teams of web engineers and developers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with marketing teams and managing a web site that is used for digital marketing (A/B tests, determining which offers to present as a pop-up, driving responses to email campaigns back to micro-sites, use of google analytics for consumer response optimization, etc.)

Responsibilities include: - Total ownership and oversight of websites and web projects. - Manage a team of 10 + internal and external developers - Perform front end UI development utilizing JQuery, JavaScript and other JavaScript libraries - Primarily working with development teams and marketing department to gain an understanding of business needs while collaborating with developers to draft conceptual solutions, designs and development instructions prior to delivery. Experience you will need: - Proven ability to manage a team of 5-10 developers. - 10 years minimum hands on experience as a Full Stack Developer with a concentration on large public facing direct to consumer sites. - Experience working with marketing teams and familiarity with marketing concepts and terms. - Expert level of frontend technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery with related plugins and component libraries like JQuery UI and JQuery Mobile. - Extensive knowledge of widely used browsers, whether desktop or mobile and related development tools like Firebug and Chrome Dev Tools. - Experience in building and structuring large JavaScript web applications applying JavaScript Designed Patterns either on your own homegrown MV* framework or using libraries like BackBone.JS or Angular.JS. - Strong knowledge of the overall release / deployment process
