Title IT Project Manager Location Dayton, OH Duration 9 - 12+ months (Potential for extension or conversion FT) Top Desired Skills Project Manager, Agile, Healthcare Industry experience Job Description We are in search of an experienced IT Project Manager with at least 6+ years of IT experience and healthcare experience. - Deep experience working through matrixed individuals to get work accomplished - Working knowledge of Marketplace (aka Exchange, aka Affordable Care Act) insurance products from a healthcare payer perspective (Nice to have) - Experience with Marketing Communications and Call Center processes. Experience with online communications (i.e., website, mobile apps, member and provider portals) (preferred) Manage large scope projects within programs and standalone projects Utilize Project Management framework, adhering to standard tools, process and methodology Collaborate with business owners on the identification and assignment of business resourcesmdashassist with resource capacity forecasting Create and manage budgets, timelines (milestones) and task schedules Execute the project through all phases of the project lifecycle Understand and refine business and technology architecture Maintain strategic alignment of assigned projects by analyzing charters and reviewing expectations with all impacted stakeholders Lead the planning process to create the Project Charter, including collaborating with Scrum Masters for all impacted Agile teams, understanding their sprint plans, and creating an integrated Work Plan Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure projects are properly funded, resourced, and managed Manage all assigned internal and external resources, driving motivation, collaboration, and performance Lead the requirements gathering and analysis process, capturing business and technical needs in Agile epics and user stories Conduct team meetings to establish and execute on detailed project plans Ensure project milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of the project lifecycle Produce detailed reports, business decision documents, meeting minutes, and notifications on assigned projects Accurately track and report progress against plan to stakeholders at all levels Identify, log, and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicateescalate to stakeholders Identify, log, assign, and resolve or escalate project issues, hindrances, and blockers using company best practices Effectively manage scope and change, asses impact and assure controls Assist with the continuous improvement of project management and service delivery best practices, processes, and tools Perform other duties as requested Desired Experience Extensive understanding of project management processes, techniques and tools, development lifecycle (Agile) Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work and team assignments to deliver projects on time, on budget, and meeting stakeholder expectations Ability to lead and mentor project managers and business analysts with business case development Ability to effectively and efficiently lead a project team Excellent planning, negotiating and influencing skillset Flexibility during organizational andor business changes Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills Excellent critical listening and thinking skills Excellent decision makingproblem solving skills Proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of management within the organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrates excellence in analysis and collaboration skills Hands on proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Demonstrate sense of urgency Time management skills PMP certification preferred Peter Robin Opera Technologies Inc, 557 West Uwchlan Ave,Suite 200, Exton, PA 19341 M T Ext 206 Fax Email peterroperaus.net
