IT Regulatory Analyst - Remote based

The Regulatory Analyst
assists in the validation of the data elements and data sources required for
the calculation of the objectives and measures necessary to meet The Centers
for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Promoting Interoperability Program,
and selected additional measures as defined by Tenet. Job activities for this role would include: Data
quality management Validate
data accuracy of calculated measures Data
disparity investigation Support
end user requests for data analysis Regulatory
Research Review
and interpret healthcare regulations, rules, and standards to assess impact and
provide guidance Examples:
CMS Inpatient Prospective Payment System rules, ONC Certification rules, HL7
standards, Value Set Authority standards Compare
and contrast vendor interpretations and design with rules and regulations Predictive
Analytics and Data Research Develop
and utilize predictive analytics tools to support hospital compliance with
regulatory measures and organization goals Perform
data analysis and research on an adhoc and on demand basis Regulatory
and Non-Regulatory Measure Development Develop
functional (user) requirements and use cases to support design of end user
reports and BI reporting tools Facilitate
data mapping to support BI environment development and build Independently
develop SQL based reporting measures Collaborate
with BI developers to implement automated measure reporting

Qualifications:
5+
years of combined experience in clinical information systems, health care
operations (clinical, financial, quality) Extensive
experience with data quality management Experience
with enterprise wide process redesign and transformation in multi-entity
settings Experience
in Health Data projects including planning and implementing hospital data
warehouses Clinical
computing and clinical process redesign Clinical
outcomes and performance improvement programs (patient safety, CPOE, etc.) Clinical
quality measurement and its relationship to clinical computing Regulatory
program requirements and strategies (ARRA, TJC, IQR, etc.) Experience
with Cerner, MEDITECH and/or McKesson vendor solutions highly preferred Experience
