Your Role

As a pre-sales engineer and technical evangelist, you'll be connecting with prospects during their introduction to Evanios. Collaboratively with our sales team, you will successfully demonstrate our product, articulate our competitive differentiators and complementary features, facilitate Q&A and gather technical requirements, which you'll use to design and implement POC's.

In addition to hands-on technical deployment, you will also contribute to ongoing improvement of our pre-sales methodology and positioning. Plus, you'll work with marketing and customer success to develop targeted content (blogs, white papers, diagrams, videos, presentations) that help inform and educate potential customers.

Additionally, you will…

  • Provide technical guidance, respond to and manage customer expectations throughout the sales cycle
  • Prepare client facing and internal deliverables (e.g. statement of work, presentations, proof of concept plans, etc.)
  • Drive continuous improvement of user experience, software features, implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences
  • Provide occasional tradeshow support

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of sales engineering experience in the field of event management, IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Operations Analytics (ITOA)
  • Familiarity with integrations, event correlation, and root cause analysis methodologies
  • Knowledge of machine learning and algorithmic operations, as they relate to IT Operations
  • General Understanding of ServiceNow, BMC and/or similar ITSM platforms (e.g. Cherwell, EasyVista, Ivanti, HP, CA, IBM, etc.) including related processes such as CMDB, Change Management, Incident Management, etc.
  • Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring (e.g. AppDynamics, SolarWinds, SCOM, Zenoss, etc.), cloud integration (e.g. AWS, Azure) and NOC/MoM dashboards
  • Ability to connect with business and/or technical audiences
