Product UI/UX Design Lead


Join the eMeals team as a key member of our growth-stage company! is the market leader in online meal planning, providing simple and affordable meal plans to hundreds of thousands of busy people everywhere.

We are looking for a hands-on Product Design Lead with a passion for solving real-life problems through user-centered design that is looking to grow into a management-level product position. This position reports directly to our CTO in our Acworth, GA offices, but we are also open to remote candidates.  The Product Design Lead will be the senior design role in the company with responsibility for the look-and-feel and user experience of both our web and mobile apps.


  • Gather product requirements from user feedback, user interviews, product usage data and key stakeholders
  • Create intuitive user interface designs that meet the product requirements and solve customer problems
  • Consult with development team on UI/UX issues and marry the technical capabilities to the design
  • Develop high-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate how the app will function and what it will look like
  • Present, discuss, and refine product designs with key stakeholders to deliver final designs to our development team
  • Evaluate and manage the end-to-end product experience


  • 4+ years’ experience building consumer facing web and native mobile apps
  • Portfolio of clean, intuitive and functional designs that highlights your level of responsibility for the designs
  • Relentless curiosity for learning how our customers use our app day-to-day
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to discuss design decisions with key stakeholders and advocate for the user
  • Background facilitating usability testing
  • Expert in Photoshop/Sketch, Illustrator, wire framing, and prototyping software
  • Ability to create intuitive and simple information architecture based on real data

Ideal Candidates Also Have:

  • Previous product roadmap management experience
  • Worked in digital food related design
  • Have built onboarding flows and customer retention processes
