Job Description This position will be focused on ensuring the quality of the products developed by our commercial flight software team. As a SQA Engineer you will review software documentation for testability and standards adherence to include software systems designs, specifications and plans, evaluate functional requirements, identify implementation risks and make recommendations. You will evaluate quality goals and expectations, identify testing resources and perform testing activities.
You will design test scenarios, scripts, or procedures, make corrective/preventative action recommendations and conduct software tests/diagnostics and verify software system requirements and testability. Identify, analyze and document software behavior and find and verify defects. Evaluate test execution against traced specifications and identify gaps. Analyze test results against expected behaviors and gather technical data and perform initial test outcome analysis

Qualifications KEY SKILLS AND ABILTIES:
Knowledge of software quality practices, programming languages, operating systems and computing technology.
Application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems.
Works effectively and cooperatively with others; establishes and maintains good working relationships.
Ability to write clear, concise technical prose.
Ability to apply technical knowledge and knowledge of fundamental writing skills.
Prefer candidates with experience/knowledge of:
JIRA and Confluence
TestRail or other Test Management Systems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree of Science from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics. Typical experience: 5-8 years in an engineering classification with a Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years experience in an engineering classification with a Master's degree.
