BETTER VACATIONS: BetterVacations.co is a leading provider of Property Management as a Service for second homes and investment properties. We currently manage hundreds of properties across the US with 5 international locations. In the rapidly growing sharing economy and vacation rental space ($170 Billion industry), Better Vacations provides a one-stop shop for property management through revenue optimization, marketing, advertising, guest communications and a full suite of other services with the goal of Homeowners generating more revenue with us than they could on their own, while maintaining a higher quality of service to guests who book on Airbnb , VRBO, etc. THE ROLE: We are seeking a full-time position to work directly under our Head of Finance to provide full time bookkeeping and various other financial tasks such as generating Homeowner statements, working to ensure vacation rental taxes and permits are set up properly, etc. Additionally, we'd like you to:a) Solve our QBO to the point where we are able to cleanly track any metric we want (margin, profits) - QBO already 80% set up with all 2018 reconciled. b) Issue accurate monthly PNLs at a company levelc) Conduct reconciliations to ensure vendors are not over-charging You will be working remotely from a home office with periodic meetups in LA to work with our Head of Finance (especially during your first month of training).
