GDIT is seeking a professional with electronic health record experience for a software development and support contract that supports the Indian Health Services resource and patient management system. This position works with clinicians, developers, and federal staff to review and evaluate software products and systems. Designs and creates test conditions, test data, and test scripts to address business and technical use cases. Perform test validation at various levels including database validation, logging validation, and user interface validation. Tracks and reports test results, troubleshoots, and coordinates fixes. Inform team leads and other designated management officials of results of testing activities. Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate, using VSTS to document identified bugs. Participates in troubleshooting and triaging the issues with team members to drive towards root cause identification and resolution. Develops and presents technical documentation, test cases, test reports, test data sets and other briefing materials to support program status reviews, control gates, and other presentations as directed by program management. Participates in iterative software development teams with adherence to all reporting requirements. Work with agile team members to design, develop, enhance, debug and implement a test automation framework. Opportunity to work primarily from home with a geographically dispersed team. --- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience. 5+ years of experience with functional testing, integration testing, system acceptance testing, and user acceptance testing. Agile certification such as Scrum Alliance CSM or Scaled Agile SAFe considered a plus. --- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in quality assurance and software engineering. Understanding of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and ISO 9001 requirements. Experience with automated testing, a plus. Experience with Health IT, EHR systems, and Meaningful Use, highly desired. Demonstrated relevant work experience in development or testing role. Demonstrated ability to explain technical issues clearly/accurately to technical/non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team with adjusting priorities and deadlines. Understanding of Agile processes and the related QA lifecycle. Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps a plus. Proven ability to work on a remote/distributed team. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance. Active Public Trust or higher clearance, a plus. ??
