System Analyst x 3 - EXCLUSIVE - NEW - PRODUCT TRAINING - SOME REMOTE WORK

£35,000 - 40,000

Remote working 1-day per week

Key skills: 2nd/3rd Level Support, SQL/Oracle.

Leading global science organisation in Bristol requires a number of System Analysts to join it's growing and successful team. Training will be provided by ForgeRock solutions on their products.

Suitable candidates will have the following:

Security Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance or higher

Minimum Qualification/Education Level:

- 5+ years of related work experience.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or related discipline, or relevant industry experience

- Broad knowledge and understanding about many aspects of enterprise-scale information technology deployments.

- Knowledge of ForgeRock and Jira technologies

- Technical experience supporting IT projects within MoD preferred.

- Active UK SC clearance (or higher) or able to obtain a UK SC clearance within 3 months.

Person Specification:

  • Able to read java logic (not write it) to work with developers to develop solutions
  • SQL (ideally Oracle) query writing skills to interrogate databases
  • Experience working and maintaining ForgeRock solutions
  • Experience working and maintaining Jira solutions
  • Ability to proactively manage requirements through the life-cycle
  • Experience as a Systems/Technical Analyst who has been directly involved with the design and implementation of business systems
  • 2nd + 3rd level support for products and systems you are exposed to
  • A technical understanding of design and implementation of other platforms such as Websites and Apps
  • Attention to detail and the ability to document IT systems in a diagrammatic form
  • Outstanding verbal skills in order to interview, hold workshops etc. to elicit the appropriate information required to create the blueprints;
  • Working understand of Linux based operating systems

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills - expect to liaise closely with others and write documentation.

· Understanding of Logistics and supply chain management working with Enterprise resource planning applications

  • Flexible to take on additional infrastructure and technical responsibilities as deem necessary.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL framework and Experience of working in an agile environment and familiar with agile ceremonies
  • · Methodical thinking and logical problem solver for resolving complex problems.
  • · Self-starter / self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • · Fast learner and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy.
  • · Organized and able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • · Effectively manages time to meet deadlines amidst periodic interruptions.
  • · Training Junior Systems analyst to provide coverage and insight across the team.
