CAD Analyst (Security) ? Sunnyvale, California
What this job involves:

???????????? New Account Activities
  • Review AutoCAD drawing files and prepare plans for redlines from Design Engineers.
  • Ensure all CAD files are correct, complete, and most up-to-date for review.
  • Create new _Arch, _Floor, and _Riser Diagram drawings.
  • Ensure that all security assets are marked per Design Engineer?s redlines and accounted for.
  • Properly place security assets on plans with correct direction and legibility.
  • Ensure that all documents are in compliance with Security standards and layering formats.
    Maintenance Account Activities - Project Revision
  • Review new AutoCAD drawing files and prepare plans for redlines from Design Engineers or Project Managers.
  • Ensure any and all changes from previous backgrounds are captured and presented accordingly.
  • Ensure all CAD files are correct, complete, and most up-to-date for review.
  • Create new versions and modify any and all existing _Arch, _Furn, and Riser Diagram drawings as needed.
  • Ensure all new and existing security assets comply with new architectural backgrounds.
  • Ensure that all security assets are marked per Design Engineer?s redlines and accounted for.
  • Cloud in red all revision changes with delta numbers and notes for explanation.
    Maintenance Account Activities - Project Submission
  • Submit through email finished security drawing to the Security Team.
  • Establish and maintain a library of master drawings accessible to CAD Security Team.
  • Update and maintain a library of PDF drawings to be shared with Google Security.
  • Change final revision into as-built after project / building FDOB.
  • Update security tracker as completed.
    Maintenance Account Activities- Special projects and/or any other CAD related service
  • Create new security legend blocks for use in AutoCAD as needed.
  • Maintain the plotter in good working condition for the Security Team.
  • Provide different size prints as needed in plotter for review and submission.
  • Any and all other duties and tasks assigned from a Program Manager.

  • Associates Degree - Drafting
  • Degree in Engineering or Architecture
    Years of Relevant Experience
  • 1-3 years of CAD/CAFM Technical and Project-Related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment. ?Strong understanding of occupancy planning, architectural design.

    Skills and Knowledge
  • A strong working knowledge of CAD/CAFM Systems.
  • Excellent MS skills inducing: Power Point, Excel, Access, Word.
  • Excellent understanding of CAD/CAFM systems and experienced in using its data to deliver projects.

    Other Abilities:
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects from different Project Managers simultaneously and remotely.
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas in a concise and summarized manner without personal bias.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Program management skills coupled with the ability to profitably execute and deliver.
  • Must have a strong understanding of the architectural and furniture plans.
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Ability to self-govern and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to facilitate conflict resolution - internally and externally.
  • Ability to develop relationships that can lead to long term assignments.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with others.
  • Understanding of and experience in implementing quality assurance and continuous improvement programs.
  • Understanding of and experience in construction drawings and documents a plus.
  • Experience in security design field and application skills a plus
    Physical Work Requirements/Work Conditions:
  • Work is to be performed in a remote office environment with periodic visits to local JLL offices for meetings and training. ?Ability to work and coordinate a remote team is critical. Travel will be approximately 25%.
  • To ensure accurate reporting of information and foster critical relationships between various individuals and?organizations, communication channels will exist with: Client Security Managers and Directors, Program and Project Managers, Design Engineers, Programmers, Field Technicians, Mountain View Locks.
