Purpose of this position: This person will provide supportive casework services in harmony with the Family Based Program therapist to quell family crisis situations and to promote and help sustain a stable, harmonious living environment for the family.
Qualifications: Knowledge of professional caseworker principles, practices and methodology as well as the demonstrated capacity to further develop same. Minimum requirements for this position are a Bachelor's degree in Human Service Field and two years experience working with emotionally disturbed children/adolescents. Knowledge of individual, group behavior and interrelationships with those families receiving program services, as well as colleagues and the public at large. Ability to work effectively with people and inspire them to grow in constructive utilization of their individual capacities. Ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate case records, make clinical recommendations and to formulate service plans and goals.
