The Consumer Processing Representative responsibilities include preparing or reviewing loan documents/disclosures for accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Representatives will be expected to develop an understanding of consumer loan products, Loan Policy, secondary market investor guidelines and/or various regulatory requirements. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Ordering and basic follow up on items for loan file documentation + Professional and effective communication with title companies, other third party vendors, and internal departments + Data entry + Preparing or reviewing loan documents/disclosures to comply with Loan Policy, investor guidelines and/or regulatory requirements + Develop familiarity with flood determinations, subsidence searches, payoff statements, title commitments, disclosures, tax verifications + Representative will be accountable for meeting department Service Level Objectives + Provide excellent customer service to branch officers and employees (non-customer contact/facing) + Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment + Ability to work independently + Perform other duties and projects as assigned + Understand and comply with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy Salary commensurate with experience. **Requirements** **Minimum Qualifications of Position** + Little or no prior relevant work experience; training will be provided. **Preferred Qualifications of Position** + Basic understanding of loans + Ability to effectively manage a full workload with little assistance Knowledge and Skills + Basic knowledge of Microsoft products + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills + Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills + Effective time-management skills + Ability to focus on multiple priorities without degradation in the quality of work produced + Comfort in a fast-paced office environment + Demonstrate initiative, and a desire to learn the consumer loan process **Working Conditions and Physical Requirements** Work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels and light to heavy traffic.
