Key responsibilities:
Provide DMZ/DDoS/B2B/VPN Infrastructure Engineering and secured services to various LOB and B2B customers across various DMZ Zones. Includes global DDoS detection and mitigation service, DMZ, B2B/extranets, encryption, Internet portal, and VPN while providing network level HLD and LLD designs and solution delivery.

Qualifications:
Create Firewall rules, NCD and design packages as needed. Manage assigned networking projects, program components and deployments to deliver services in accordance with established company objectives. Maintain a thorough understanding of Network Infrastructure, IP Routing, DNS, Security, HTTP(S), VPN, and Network Monitoring tools. Utilize DDos tools like Arbor and Prolectics (Alamai) for treat mitigations to include Application layer, TCP state table and Bandwidth DoS treats. Worked with SDN and Openflow1.5 Open V-switch Utilizing ODL (Open Daylight), Minninet, ONOS, HP VANS, Floodlight and RYU Controllers.

Competence:
Extensive experience in client engagements, either working directly for a client or experience in positioning complex installations to clients. Strong background in the area of networking in the following categories: B2B/ISP designs, Network planning, Network baseline and topology assessment, Network planning and optimization.
Description/Requirements:
  • Must have strong Routing, switching, Nexus, ASA and DMZ/B2B/ISP experience.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP concepts, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, IPSEC, ISAKMP, trunking/port-channeling, FHRP protocols, enterprise level MPLS, VDC, flavors of vPC, Fabricpath.
  • Familiar with best practices to install and deploy various Cisco routing and switching platforms such as ISR, ASR, Catalyst and Nexus.
  • Basic QoS configuration on IOS and NX-OS.
  • Hands on with Nexus platforms such as 2k,,5k, 7k and 9k required.
  • Exposure to IOS-XR routing desired but not required.
  • Advanced security knowledge on ASA and Cisco IOS such as IPSEC, remote access VPNs, site to site VPNs, firewall context is an advantage.
  • Virtualization experience advantages.
  • In-depth understanding of troubleshooting Cisco router and switch configurations.
  • Ability to interface directly with vendors and local support teams.
  • Ability to self-manage concurrently running projects.
