Sectigo is currently seeking a Sales Engineers to join our team. Location is open

The Sales Engineer (SE) is the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives, our channel partner network and pre-sales customers. The SE will take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers and channel partners to help close deals by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers and channel partners either onsite, online, and via email/telephone.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide Proof of Concept service to pre-sales customers and help clients with planning and implementation of Sectigo solutionsProvide support and training to the channel partner network and respond to technical requests from channel partnersWork in a fast-pace environment under minimal supervisionWill provide software and network troubleshooting in complex customer environmentsMaintain and expand working knowledge of current and future productsShare best practices with other SEs to enhance quality of service and efficiencyProvide product training and mentoring when requiredContribute to building the SE Readiness Program and develop subject matter expertise in assigned products and solutionsWilling to travel for customers facing activities, as well as marketing and user group eventsChannel feature requests to Product Management to enhance Sectigo productsParticipate in alliance projects including building vendors’ and customers’ relationships


BS degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.Sales Engineering and/or professional services experience preferredExperience working with various Microsoft software and systems, specifically Active Directory, windows and Linux platforms, servers and stations, Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), SSL, X509 is preferredExperience with IIS, Tomcat, Apache, F5 is preferredSolid multi-tasking, troubleshooting and problem resolution abilitiesSelf-starter and quick learner with desire to continually learn new tools and technologiesStrong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients including administrators and C-level executives.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Software as a Service (SaaS) solutionsKnowledge of MS Windows and Active Directory, and Certificate Services is a plusKnowledge of MS Exchange, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, Cisco VPN, loadbalancer technologies, and SQL is a plusPrior experience and/or knowledge of PKI, SSL, X509 is a plusExperience with VMware vCenter, VDI, AWS, and or AzureNetwork infrastructure experience

One or more of below certifications or training is desired:

VCP – VMware Certified ProfessionalCISSP – Certified Information Systems Security ProfessionalMCP – Microsoft Certified ProfessionalMCSE – Microsoft Certified Solutions ExpertLinux/Solaris/UNIX System AdministrationAWS/Cloud Certification
