Data Analyst/Architect Job Description

Flexion is an accomplished, professional, privately held services provider, seeking strategic, highly-trained experts who are focused on delivering best-in-class solutions for our public and private enterprise clients located throughout North America. We are currently in search of a Data Analyst/Architect for our work with a client based in Madison, WI. There will be some onsite time in Madison, WI initially but after the initial period work can be done remotely with occasional travel.



This person will help our client to better understand their current data structures and look for ways to improve the current structure and help define standards. The second phase of this work will be to help provide architectural suggestions for a future state of this clients BI and Data Analytics environment.

Required Qualifications:




  • Ability to analyze, transform, and join data from different data sources to derive data to inform guidance for healthcare consumers.
  • Analyze various datasets to uncover usable insights and proactively communicate to team, stakeholders, and client.
  • Ability to outline the work necessary for analysis of datasets and for different initiatives.
  • Ability to ingest customer business goals and formulate multiple technology options to inform data strategy and future governance.
  • Openly communicate and work closely with a team of engineers, internal and external stakeholders, and the client.
  • Can work in a constantly changing, increment-driven, agile environment.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Data Analytics, SAS and SAP S4.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote work setting but also be an active and engaged part of the team.
  • Holds self and team accountable.
  • Comfortable being proactive, communicative and asking questions in interactions with the team and stakeholders.
  • Willing to learn new approaches and comfortable being challenged, and challenging others.
  • 5+ years of Data Analytics experience.


Preferred qualifications:



  • Experience using AWS Technologies for data processing and querying.
  • Strong understanding of Data Engineering strategies.
  • Experience working in the consumer products industry.
