Our client, one of the UK's leading multinational Education providers are currently seeking a number of Online contingent mentors to join their team on an initial 8 week contract, commencing August 2020. The ideal candidate will need to be able to commit a minimum 5 hour per week - the role can be worked along a full time role and the hours worked are determined by the mentor and leaning. The role in question is based purely remotely so no travel is required.

Our client is looking for mentors in charge of online one to one mentoring in your chosen specialist area(s) for learners who are just starting out in their career. This will be a 'light touch' and structured way to develop and grow your leadership skills to aid your career progression, your team productivity and to help the next generation properly prepare for the workplace.

Our client is designing experiential digital short courses for people starting their careers to prepare them for everyday work situations. Our courses will help them to develop specific capabilities through contextual practice and interactions with industry mentors. Learners will have affordable access to gaining and demonstrating the critical skills and experiences they need to stand out, secure high-value employment and make faster progress in their careers.

Responsibilities

Our client is hiring contingent mentors who will:

Provide guidance, encouragement and knowledge to help mentees make the most of the task they are preparing and delivering within the course (Understanding Customers)

Review and provide written feedback on a practice task included in the course content given to the learner. Feedback to be completed using a standard competency framework.

Review learner's plan to achieve their final 'live' task and provide feedback and support via a video call.

Review learner's completed 'live' task submission and provide 'post task' feedback via video call and final written comments, again using a standard competency framework

Support up to four mentees at any given time to build your experience quickly and support more learners.

Time commitment - 4 hours per learner (10 learners in total) - across 8 weeks - 40 hours total.

Skills and Requirements

3 - 5 years' account management/customer success management experience in an organized trade environment.

Developing healthy customer engagement levels to further drive customer success.

Experience in develop projects to increase loyalty and customer satisfaction.

Experience in designing customer journeys.

Understanding client's business, knowing exactly which of the products / services can help them evolve their business.

Establishing customer support practices.

Designing and implementing business strategies, plans, and procedures

Representing the voice of the customer to inform the sales process and product roadmaps

Developing customer specific (SMART) plans that cover overall strategy and specific goals.

Customer orientation mindset.

Willingness to share skills, knowledge and expertise.

Ability to motivate, enthusiasm.

Openness to opinions of others.

Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance

Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and being able to adjust the communication to the personality style of the mentee

Technologically proficient, ability to use the online meeting tools and learning systems effectively.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, or a related field is desirable
