Cisco Security Practice Lead Architect - This is a Remote position however it will require some travel throughout the Pacific North West Region. Candidates can be based anywhere within the 4 state region (Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho) and work remotely the majority of the time. - As the (Remote) Cisco Security Practice Lead Architect you will lead Practice Strategy, PreSales, and be heavily involved in the design and deployment of advanced Cisco Network Security solutions to meet customer needs. This is a broadly scoped position suited for a true hybrid technologist focusing on Cisco Network Security. - You will work collaboratively with Operations to ensure seamless transition of needs based solution design throughout the project delivery lifecycle. You will be instrumental in ensuring technical solution capability meets customer and industry standards. You will directly influence the direction and growth of the security practice. - Key Responsibilities - Work with Leadership team to set practice strategy Architect and implement Cisco Network Security solutions to meet customer requirements within industry and technology best practices Act as the technical authority for assessment and approval of specifications for solution construction or change Assist partners with project plan, direction, and evaluation with the inclusion of costs, requirements, and timeline Liaise with customer and internal staff throughout project delivery to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved Share knowledge of product benefits and capability in ongoing training sessions with technical and non-technical staff Assist Director with regional corporate growth activities and take on increase position responsibility when appropriate Develop technical roadmap for the overall solution including high level design, SoW, BoM Assist sales in customer meetings to answer technical questions Respond to technical components of RFIRFPRFQ Engage with customer to develop trusted technology advisor relationships with key decision makers Work with customers to discover and gather technical and business requirements Prepare and deliver presentations to educate customers of solution and service benefits relevant to their businesstechnology needs and goals Assist sales in technical components of tender and bidding process Participate in technology and professional training and development to continue to enhance your skills and capability Technology Focus Requirements - Security solutions using one or more of the following technologies - Network Security End Point Mobile Security Virtualization Security Identity Access management Security Management and Operations Encryption VPN Application Security (including webcloud and database) Anti-Malware Solutions Web Email Gateways - Desirable Knowledge and Skills - Cisco FirewallsVPNs Cisco IDSIPS solutions Cisco Malware Prevention Complex Cisco routing and switching solutions Cisco Enterprise Wireless solutions Load balancingAcceleration solutions Cisco and F5 Cisco Network Access Control and Authentication systems Data Security Solutions - RSA Cisco Prime Security and Network Monitoring and Management Tools Cisco and VMware Software Defined Networking Certifications - Desirable Security Certifications i.e. CCIE, GCIH, CISSP, CISM, ISSMP - Please e-mail a resume with contact information to Jay D.at jaydwsinationwide.com or call .
