We're looking for a Solutions Engineer for our Seattle Area client, this role requires travel onsite to work directly with customers, but otherwise is a remote work from home opportunity - no relocation to Seattle required. This person will bring a stellar customer oriented mindset, solid database focused (SQL, Reporting, Configuration) technical skills, and strong communication skills focused on client training and engagement. This work is a mix of get-it-done customer support, database development, and deep troubleshooting. We're looking for someone who's excited about doing all of it they're a small company and everyone wears a lot of hats. You'll have the autonomy to do the right thing, and can take on additional company challenges as you'd like. Responsibilities Lead customer deployments of our applications, including working traveling onsite to integrate their existing processes with our application's workflow. This involves complex SQL queries, reporting and database skills. Work with our enterprise customers to solve their problems - this could include training, workarounds, report generation, etc. Be a key customer advocate and an avid and passionate troubleshooter. Manage your own queue of work, following up with customers based on priority and severity Think like an owner find ways to do the right thing for our customers Requirements 6+ years of enterprise-level account engineering support Solid database development skills yoursquore excited by complex SQL queries, comfortable with Crystal Reports andor other Business Intelligence Analytics tools you've done SQL Server installations and are comfortable with complex troubleshooting configuration Customer facing support Experience helping customers work confidently, plus troubleshooting and finding workarounds experience with supply chain, invoicing billing helpful Self-starting you can solve problems with limited information and common sense, you can prioritize, you can make decisions without being told what to do etc. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written. Customer engagement is key, yoursquoll need to be able to work well with both technical and non-technical folks Play well with others, be a great team member experience with small companies is certainly welcome Highly welcomed but not required Specific experience working with complex workflow ERP applications, pre-sales engineering experience with software development and technical account management 50 travel required, working onsite with clients - Key Travel Season is June through January Competitive pay with excellent healthcare benefits.
