Provide technical assistance (TA) related to selection and implementation of curricula inclusive of the requirements of the birth to five spectrum Provide training and technical assistance (TTA) to improve teacher and child interactions in all settings and program options for children birth to five years. Support grantees by analyzing the development of the procedures and skills necessary to aggregate, analyze, and use data obtained through multiple sources to inform teaching, curriculum implementation, progress reports for parents, staff development and training, and other aspects of program improvement. Support grantees to develop, implement, and evaluate mentoring and coaching strategies designed to improve the quality of teacher, home visitor, and family child care provider performance, classroom quality, and outcomes for children, including children with disabilities and children with dual language learners. Provide onsite and virtual TTA support to management and program staff, leadership teams, and large groups using process consultation and incorporating implementation science as a change model.
-5+ years of experience with Head Start or Early Head Start
-Experience in implementing strategies for working effectively with infants, toddlers and preschoolers in different learning environments, including center-based, home-based, and family child care options
-Experience with providing training and technical guidance to improve teacher and child interactions
-BA or BS degree
-Knowledge of early child education, including teaching and learning, teacher career development, parent and family engagement, and collaboration with state partners
-Knowledge of adult learning principles
-Knowledge of the early childhood systems at the national, state, and local level
-Ability to work independently and be organized to complete tasks in a home office setting
-Ability to provide onsite and virtual training and technical
-MA or MS degree and completion of early childhood education and development courses, conferences, and seminars a plus
-Current Class Observer Reliability Certification
